ISTD,International Society of Typographic Designers, is a professional body run by and for typographers, graphic designers and educators. The Brief for ISTD 2012 typography awards was to use the given text of The Waitress, a tale by Jack Zipes, re-invent an alternative reading experience for today’s new reader. My response  was creating an interactive iPad application for typographers, design students, and those people who generally love typographic designs. I developed a function for users/readers to discover the information of the typefaces used on each page. Moreover, since this book was designed as a typographic inspirational book, I experimented to use as many typefaces as possible. As a result, considering different weights and styles in a type-family, a total of 109 fonts was used throughout this project.
